The Rural School of Economics by Myvillages is de-centralised, self-organised, multi-lingual, and nomadic. It exists as a multi-local and international network of geographically distant rural communities.
Knowledge exchange is led by non-linguistic sharing and learning-by-doing. The Rural School of Economics is trans-disciplinary and inter-generational, and classes happen close to where rural economics are practiced, in small workshops, kitchens, on fields, in the street or the woods, and in village halls.
The pedagogy highlights learning as commoning, and focuses on mutual knowledge exchange, with the roles of teachers and learners being interchangeable.
